Systems integrators selected to deploy next-gen ActiNav

To promote ActiNav flexible machine loading systems, Universal Robots has selected integrators across the U.S. to be ActiNav Solutions Providers to assist end users in deployments. The companies have in-house demo units, enabling them to quickly develop proofs of concept for customers in their regions.

Integrators include:

  • Integro Technologies Corp. (Salisbury, North Carolina)
  • Southwestern Production Technology Solutions (Coppell, Texas)
  • Cross Co. (North Carolina)

Additional integrators in the U.S. and Canada are expected to be approved as ActiNav Solution Providers before the end of June 2021.

Multishift fully automatic laser system with Industry 4.0 integration offers advanced laser marking, structuring, cutting, and engraving.

Specialized sensitive robotic gripping leaves no indelible marks while automatic pallet processing enables faster, more accurate laser processing, eliminating some batch tasks.

Using precise industrial lasers, Multishift supports nanosecond, picosecond, femtosecond, and CO2 laser processing capabilities to provide operators finer laser structuring options. Engraving in 3D is also supported.

White light sensor


The HP-OW chromatic white light sensor is used with coordinate measurement machines (CMMs) to rapidly inspect delicate parts, without applying damaging pressure, to a range of surface finishes, including those produced via additive manufacturing (AM).

It provides increased measurement speed and flexibility for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and offers contract manufacturers the opportunity to employ new technologies and materials in production.

The sensor measures components with transparent, polished, rough, and matte finishes, making it easy to quickly and accurately measure parts with delicate materials. Non-contact capabilities offer high throughput inspection of medical devices, such as surgical implants, where every part must be inspected with high accuracy.
