    Selective laser melting

The Lasertec 30 SLM 2nd Gen. machine – additive manufacturing (AM) through selective laser melting (SLM) in the powder bed – has a 11.8" x 11.8" x 11.8" construction volume and CELOS machine control, ensuring optimum processes in the pre- and post-processing of additively manufactured parts. The open system enables individual adjustment of all machine settings and process parameters, including an unlimited choice of material suppliers.

The powder module rePLUG enables a material exchange in less than two hours while the closed material circuit ensures a high level of work safety and process autonomy.

    Collaborative robot automates repetitive tasks

The TM Series collaborative robot is transportable and complies with safety requirements for human-robot collaboration specified in ISO 10218-1 and ISO/TS 15066, eliminating the need for industrial safety guarding. A manual teaching function allows operators to train the robot to perform almost any repetitive task in any location with hand-guidance, no software required.

The flowchart-based programming interface and intuitive teaching reduces installation and setup times compared with traditional industrial robots, and no prior robot programming experience is necessary. An integrated on-arm vision system further reduces setup time and the built-in vision and integrated lighting captures products with a wide viewing angle. Image sensing functions include pattern matching, barcode reading, and color identification.
