The Bearing Preload Series expands to include diameters ranging from 9mm to 13mm, and more than 300 SSB springs are stocked in carbon and stainless steel with free samples available for testing. The single turn wave spring helps eliminate bearing play and minimize noise, and constant light/medium pressure removes play between the ball bearings and the bearings’ inner and outer races. Preloading can prevent bearing damage due to vibration and wear caused by repetitive and non-repetitive runout. Traditional Wave Spring and Spirolox Retaining Rings are designed and manufactured to 0.165" or 4mm diameters.

Linear motion bearings
NB Slide Ways are non-recirculating linear motion bearings used in optical and measurement equipment where high precision movement is required. The SV style consist of two roller cages with precision rollers in a cross arrangement and four rails with V-shaped raceways. The SVW has one rail with V-shaped grooves on both sides and two SV rails.

Formulated using 21CFR 73 subpart D pigments and a polymer carrier that is compatible with a variety of base resins, including nylons and polyurethanes, color concentrates are suitable for medical device applications and are available in quantities as low as 1 lb. There are 12 standard concentrates while custom colored concentrates are also available.
Custom sapphire lenses are impervious to blood, harsh chemicals, and chlorine and fluorine gases and can be used in a variety of medical sensors and instruments. The lenses feature Mohs 9 hardness, which is second only to diamond for withstanding frequent use and sterilization procedures. They are available round or square, concave or convex, flat or stepped, and can incorporate holes, edge treatments, metallization, and coatings to enhance transmission to >99%, depending on thickness.

High-performance plastic material for continuous steam exposure
For metallic bearings, high heat and steam used in autoclaving requires special lubrication; however, sterilization can be limited by use of these lubricants. HSD350 material from iglide is suitable for continuous use in hygienic conditions, even with regular sterilization. Able to withstand continuous temperatures of 356°F and temporary exposure to temperatures as high as 410°F, its low moisture absorption and thermal expansion make the material suitable for use in steam chambers and autoclaves.

Line of pneumatic pinch-valves
Model 600 series pneumatic pinch valves include three models (603, 604, and 606) that will support tubing OD up to 0.375", 60psi media pressures, and hardness ratings up to Shore 70 material. Units are panel-mount ready with easy tube loading and change-out head-designed slot features. They will be available in single-acting, normally open, closed, or double-acting formats. All units weigh less than 1 lb.

Accurate, non-contact ultrasonic flow sensor
A non-contact ultrasonic flow sensor is 5x more accurate at low flow rates than other ultrasonic sensors. The new range delivers accuracies of ±5% on flow rates as low as 2ml/min in a variety of fluids including blood, saline, and buffer solutions with similar performance at higher flow rates of up to 500ml/min, making the sensors appropriate for dialysis and blood apheresis applications.
The products feature an ultrasonic transducer at either end of a disposable flow tube to calculate flow rates using the time-of-flight method. The sensors have very low zero-flow offset which reduces systematic error rate, meaning they may require only factory calibration.
The low-cost, disposable flow tube minimizes turbulent flow and sensors do not come into contact with fluid.
